5.0 out of 5 stars A well written story with a few interesting Characters....A Good Read! November 21, 2013

A very good book that has magic with a unique style. This story is about a 11 year old "Coming of age" story with some other well written characters with a story line that keeps you going. I read the book through in one setting and when i was done i had to look for book2. Sad to say it isn't out yet, but i will be keeping my eye out for it and will get it to see what happens with the main characters.

WOWZER! What a story! Definitely worthy of my first review. I could not put this one down! Great job Corrie Mitchell, your world building and character descriptions are awesome. Just the right amount of action for the first book in a series. I raced to the finish but was sad to see it end. Thomas Ross you have a new fan!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read for young and old., November 7, 2013

I received the book from the author for an honest review.

It has been awhile since I have read a young adult fantasy story with so much enjoyment. An epic tale with wizards, magic and a strong human touch.A new and unique world called Rainbow's End. A world where dreams comes true, a world for children, and adults, if you want. Where you blink, sleep and dreams come true.

A book that young and old will enjoy.
Beautifully described, with ruby filled caves, rainbow colors and beautiful pools. The Travelers, using their crystals and powers of wizardry, rescue the destitute.

However, we have the evil side as well, represented by Kraylle, another demi-god that hates the sun and beauty.

An easy to read book which will leave you feeling good.

A book I can recommend to all readers, young and old.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wizard, November 3, 2013

Wizard

I enjoyed reading Wizard. It is an example of great imagination, and a completely new concept. The author has a very unique style of writing, which is refreshing to see, as so many authors these days are the same.

The story is captivating, and very detailed. The author does a very good job of 'showing' instead of just telling.

Definitely a recommended read, I will certainly buy the next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The reason I love Fantasy, October 30, 2013

A few friends recommended this book to me, so I thought I would give it a try. It is the first time I have used kindle. I was not disappointed!
Books like Wizard are the reason I love this genre so much. I was swept into a different world with a vast array of brilliant characters that grew on me very quickly. All I can say is wow. Rainbow's End is possibly my favourite world yet, and I can't wait to find out what happens next in Thomas's journey. The magic is new and refreshing, nothing I have experienced before. Who knew that crystals could be so powerful?
Definitely a read I can recommend to all sci-fi and fantasy lovers.
Wish I could be critical about something, but this book is utter perfection in my eyes.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great story!, October 30, 2013

Rainbow’s End – Wizard is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. Corrie Mitchell has a wonderful imagination. His description of settings are superb, and the characters speak to one. I for one, had no trouble picturing Rainbow’s End, and I loved Orson, and Annie, and Arnold. And Thomas, of course. And the dwarves. Kraylle and Desolation are scary. And his castle is real spooky. If you have some spare time – even if you don’t, read this book. I can’t wait for the next instalment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A five star story..., October 16, 2013

I've just read Wizard for the second time. Yes, twice in one month. That's how much I enjoyed it! The second time was even better than the first. I've never read any book quite like Wizard: It has it all. Magic, fantasy, action, villains, humour and love. Corrie Mitchell has a flowing, descriptive writing style that is easy to read.
His character portrayal is excellent: Orson is a real old grump and I wish I had a Fairy George of my own.
Rainbows End is the kind of place I would like to escape to. So would you.
Read it!!
